"Working with Amanda from Sem Design Co was the best decision and investment I've made in the 4 years I've been in business, no questions asked! Her portfolio drew me in instantly and I knew I wanted to work with her. I had loosely tried to DIY my branding but I wanted more; I was ready to elevate my brand and truly have a cohesive identity that I was proud of and confident in. As a fellow creative, it can be a bit scary to hand the reigns over to someone else. But I didn't have an ounce of hesitation in working with Amanda and what she created was nothing short of perfection.
I love how Amanda took even the smallest of details from the project questionnaire or the inspiration I pulled to create a brand that is beyond anything I could have imagined. One of my favorite things is the custom icon she created that blends my initials with my love for the outdoors and various places I've lived/visited, all while tying it back to my brand & ICA values. That is one of the many things that sets Amanda apart from other designers. She elevated that even more by turning the icon into a custom brand pattern that I can't stop looking at (and may even get printed on fabric for pillows in my office!).

The final brand identity blends natural elements with a clean and simple design aesthetic. Through merging the letters “S” and “M” to craft a one of a kind mountain symbol, we evoke not only adventure and resilience but also freedom. The typography, with its organic and handcrafted feel, conveys warmth, approachability, and authenticity.

Our goal with this project was to create a brand that seamlessly fused Stepfanie's connection to nature with her passion for clean, simplified processes. We aimed to design an identity that not only resonates with her ideal audience but also embodies the essence of her approach—balancing the organic with the efficient, and the serene with the strategic.
